Meet Jacinta - owner of Matilda Coffee and Corner Store and Petite by Matilda. Located along the picnic lawn of Arcade Road Shops- Matilda brings a Parisian flavour to leafy Mont Albert North.

Jacinta says that location is more than just a physical place! "We are tucked away in the quiet back streets of Mont Albert North. We constantly get customers saying, 'I’ve lived here for years and didn’t even know you were here.' Others keep the cafe a little secret for themselves and only share it with close family and friends.” When choosing the location, it reminded me of a quaint corner shop in Paris with the garden across the street, which was my dream space!

What was once a tired and run-down arcade is now a bustling daily meeting place, full to the brim with families and many customers who are now our friends."
