Whitehorse Business Engagement Program

Whitehorse City Council’s Business Engagement Officers were out and about visiting businesses from November 2021 until the end of June 2022.

This program was run in conjunction with the Victorian State Government’s Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and provided an integral communication channel between council and local businesses over the past eight months.

Initially this program was designed to ensure that local businesses understood COVIDSafe guidelines and kept their COVIDSafe plans up-to-date. More recently it focused on promoting support programs offered by government agencies.

Throughout this program, Business Engagement Officer's visited businesses right across the City of Whitehorse, including:

  • Box Hill
  • Mitcham
  • Blackburn
  • Burwood
  • Wattle Park
  • Nunawading
  • Kerrimuir
  • Blackburn North
  • Blackburn South
  • Box Hill North
  • Box Hill South
  • Forest Hill
  • Mont Albert
  • Surrey Hills
  • MegaMile, and
  • Whitehorse industrial precincts.

If you would like to know more about this program or follow up on information that was discussed during a visit, email business@whitehorse.vic.gov.au or phone 9262 6333.
