Festive Windows Registration Form

If yours is a street-facing ground floor business located in Blackburn Station Village or Mont Albert Village, we invite you to take this opportunity to register for free window art.  

Artists will be decorating shop-front windows with custom designs from November 2023.

I give permission for Whitehorse City Council to paint a festive design on the shopfront of the above business address as part of the Whitehorse retail activation.



I understand/agree that:

  • Artwork across shop windows will be consistent throughout the precinct
  • Artist will only provide artwork for one window per registered business.
  • Artwork will not intrude upon any existing window presentation
  • Design will be at the discretion of the artist and cannot be altered. The above themes include examples only.
  • Scale of artwork is dependent on:
    • shopfront window surface
  • Artwork is expected to last until the end of December installation
  • Whitehorse Council will arrange removal of artwork by a registered contractor starting the week of Tuesday 2 January 2024.
  • If I remove artwork myself prior to that date, I will notify the project officer before 2 January 2024.
Consent
I consent to the Whitehorse City Council using photographs, video images and/or audio recordings of me to promote the Council’s work or highlight Council activities.

I understand that the Council uses photographs, video images and audio recordings online, such as on the Council’s website and social media and in printed publications, like the Council’s annual report.

I also understand that the Council may use/continue to use the photographs, video images and/or audio recordings for up to 5 years after today and that after that time it will archive them permanently in the Council’s media library.
